What our guests say
Quiet location , made to feel like home from home , Steve and Gina very welcoming made my single night a very homely and relaxing experience!
Very friendly service, immaculately clean, great breakfast, location and scenery stunning. Recommended.
The hosts were superb and made us feel very welcome… Room and beds were very comfortable… The full English breakfast was superb and set us up for our bike ride to Sunderland.
Zeer vriendelijke, behulpzame en openhartige eigenaar van het questhouse, met Hollandse roots. Ook met zijn echtgenote leuke gesprekken gevoerd. Een B&B waar je je gelijk thuis voelt.

Our location
Stay in tranquility
We are situated 1 mile from Alston on the B6277 former Turnpike road to Middleton-in-Teasdale. The Guesthouse is well signposted and we have private off road car parks. Alston, our nearest town is noted for its cobbled streets, narrow alleys and 17th Century stone buildings. It is within an AONB and enjoys European Geo-Park status.
We are located up a working farm track with wildflower meadows, fells and open moorland on all sides. We have free range hens. Our barn is safe for cycle storage. Tranquil setting with evening meals (prior booking) served outside on terrace in warm weather. Spot the bats chasing each other round the house!
